JOB DESCRIPTION

Position:    Software Engineer in Test – (Shanghai, China)

Industry Type:     Education and training

There are more than 400 schools and branches in 51 countries around the world, and more than 130 schools in China.

Key Responsibilities:

• Involve in full development/testing cycle to deliver new release or fix pack on time with good quality
  
• Responsible for the creation, deployment and execution of technical solutions in support of testing strategy/plans
  
• Attend the joint reviews with whole development team for test requirements, test design and test plan
  
• Execute functional and system tests according to test plan
  
• Defect tracking and resolution
  
• Design and develop automation test scripts
  
• Design and code review with development team
  
• Quality analysis and reporting
  

Requirements:

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  
• 3-5 years of experience in software testing or development
  
• Knowledge of QA and SDLC development methodologies
  
• Knowledge of SQL and relational database (Microsoft SQL Server)
  
• Knowledge of performance testing concepts
  
• Knowledge of Automation testing a plus
  
• Experienced in C#/VB.NET, ASP.NET and web development skills: DHTML, JavaScript, CSS etc.
  
• Has the ability to work with minimum supervision to creative solutions in support of testing
  
• Excellent analytical and quick learning ability
  
• Be able to communicate effectively in English

JOB DESCRIPTION

Position:    Senior Software Engineer (DW+SQL) – (Shanghai, China)

Industry Type:     Education and training

Key Responsibilities:

• Be responsible for data warehouse design and development, MSSQL Server development.
  
• Monitor database and systems utilization, Maintain database performance by troubleshooting and developing tuning methodologies; determine problems and solutions
  
• Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing database performance and trends.
  
• Database administration, database backup/restore and disaster recovery.
  
• Utilize SQL server in a production environment, and work on large production databases
  
• Perform the ad-hoc data fix tasks in production servers.
  
• Provide reliable technical support and guidance to developers on routine database issues.
  

Requirements:

• BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent is required.
  
• 5+years of industry experience with solid software design skills.
  
• 3+ years of project experience in n-tier and distributed applications.
  
• Experienced in Reporting Systems development: T-SQL, MDX, SQL Server Integration Services, SQL Server Analysis Services and SQL Server Reporting Services. Must have worked in reporting systems at least for the past 1 year
  
• Must be experienced in developing SSIS packages
  
• Must be experienced in Report authoring for SSRS; and configuration of SSRS subscriptions
  
• Must be experienced in designing SSAS Cubes and querying them
  
• Solid knowledge on database concepts. Have a good understanding of SQL Server Performance Tuning, Manage Indexes, Query optimization
  
• Knowledge of Sharepoint based report delivery is a plus. .NET knowledge is a plus too.
  
• Must have worked with production (live) reporting and database systems
  
• Have strong problem solving ability, is able to find creative solutions to challenging technical problems.
  
• Experience in large-scale database development and customer relationship management system or related is required.
  
• Possess good communication skills in English and good technical documentation skills.
